I have been in the medical field for 23 years. I have taught Medical Associates Degree, Medical Coding and Medical Assisting Certification programs for 9 of those years concurrently. I have worked in medical offices, hospital, and diagnostic clinics. Curriculum development at area colleges in the Dallas area for medical programs. A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style is a demonstrator. I like teacher-centered classes with an emphasis on demonstration and modeling. I try to act like a role model by demonstrating skills and processes and then as a guide in helping students develop apply theses skills and knowledge.

My comments on tutoring Microsoft Excel : I have been using these skills regularly for years.

I have a more hands on teaching style. I like for my students to show me their ideas and I will guide them to improvig on that.
I learned Microsoft and Adobe Suite during my years at the University of Mississippi. I freelanced all through my bachelor's degree until last year when I decided to start my company. I started my Master's Degree in 2012 and finished in 2014. I have extensive background in PR plans, press releases, speech writing and more. Through my internship in 2014, I produced my first commercial and used my graphic design skills extensively with the Alzheimer's Association.

When I was in high school, I decided upon attending Oklahoma State University, based upon the fact that OSU sponsored a high school scholastic competition, whereas OU was only known for football. If that does not make me boring enough, I represented my school and placed 8th in the state for Algebra. Not too bad for a small middle-class parochial school. Naturally enough, I was the best at my school. When I finally went to OSU, I studied Electrical Engineering, obtaining a Master's degree. How did I get to Texas? -- Texas Instruments of course!
I have two teenage sons, both of whom I have tutored through pre-AP Algebra, the oldest is in pre-Calculus this year. I tend to take a holistic approach, showing "why" the student needs to know the material, and "where" it fits in with other disciplines, instead of just "how" to do it.
