My comments on tutoring Continuing Education : I have been working for the last two years in adult education at Eastfield College as a part time job. Now I want to independence to have my own business. This is a class or training intended for adult learners, especially those beyond traditional undergraduate college or university students. However, it is not normally considered to include basic instruction such as literacy, Spanish Language skills or programs such as vocational training or GED preparation. Mostly for Hispanic students who want to earn the GED in the US in my case.

Communicative Approach is my favorite method because is based on the idea that learning language successfully comes through having to communicate real meaning. When learners are involved in real communication, their natural strategies for language acquisition will be used, and this will allow them to learn to use the language. The students will develop a grammar competency after they learned some strategies they will develop a grammar competency.
I had been teaching Spanish for the last 8 years, but the last four are very successful. The results amazed my college students who are also Spanish speakers, but not graduate from HS. My Spanish learners have all different background indians, asians, anglosajones, afro american, persians, etc, but all of them have one thing in common: to learn Spanish as a second or third language. My comments on tutoring Continuing Education : I like leading those who fell by the wayside before and are willing to correct their mistakes. With these group of students, I use both pedagogy and andragogy. I let them use their various experiences for the benefit of others and I only guide them which means there will always be some knowledge sharing.

I have a Doctorate degree in Business Administration (DBA), issued by Argosy University Florida. 2 Masters degrees from International Management Center Buckingham (UK) and Northland Open University Bournemouth (UK) obtaining HRM and accounting. I have a Bachelor degree from the British Society of Commerce, Wigan (UK) in accounting. I have an Associate degree from ITT Tech Richardson - Texas in Computer Networking Systems. I feel that learning does not have to be painful and so I make it enjoyable by simplifying the materials. A Little Bit About Me...

I tutored all subjects - especially in Math all through High School. I also tutored in college. I have strong skills in Math - all levels - but I especially enjoy algebra. I have two children and I basically taught my oldest son math, since he was a different kind of learner than the way they teach at school. He is a very kinesthetic type learner and needs to see, feel and touch to understand the concepts - so I used a lot of tools to help him. I can tutor math and science exceptionally well and other subjects for the younger levels.
I enjoy teaching when there is a bit of a challenge getting the student to understand the concept. As I have mentioned, I can use different styles to help the student get the concept. I have a great deal of patience and believe that everyone can learn. I enjoy the way someone looks after they have understood and mastered an idea.
