I returned to school at the age of 47 to get my degree in history. My experience consists of tutoring from 1 - 60 students (in the same hour), teaching at Greenville Technical College, and creating my own tutoring service. A Little Bit About Me...

Different children learn in different ways. Some are visual learners, some are auditory learners and some are kinesthetic learners. I like teaching in whatever way best connects with the student.
I am an elementary school teacher in the Northern Virginia area and have been tutoring students for the past 2 years. I love my job and would not change it for the world. A Little Bit About Me...

I've been teaching informally most of my adult life. I earned a 193 out of a possible 200 on a Praxis test that covered content knowledge of my subject area (English literature), and 179 in a comprehensive middle school language arts test, and am enrolled in Capella University, where I'm currently pursuing a master's of science degree in K-12 studies. Teaching has been my passion for a long time. Teaching is truly a passion for me. I love working with students of all ages. I believe that all students have it in them to succeed academically.
