I love working with children of all ages. I really like elementary age children. I have a hands-on approach to education. I want kids to get their hands into activities so that they may retain things longer. Now I do realize that not every student is hands-on. That is the responsibility of a teacher or tutor to find out what works for each student and set the envioronment for each learning experience.
I taught public school for 4 years before getting a masters degree in Religious Education with a Concentration in Childhood Education. While attending Florida A&M University I always had a passion for Mathematics, therefore my first year I took Honors Calculus I and received a grade of a 'B'. From that point I completed my Bachelor degree in Computer Information Systems and took my passion in math and began to work on my MEd in Secondary education. During that time I had the opportunity to substitute students in 6-12 grade in two different counties. I also completed my student teaching experience at Shiloh High School in Snellville, GA where I taught 9th-11th Algebra I & II and Geometry.
