Most recently I was an educational liaison in an alternative classroom in the Pocono Mountain School District. I worked for a technology company providing online curriculum for the students. While in the classroom, I tutored the students in all subject areas where they had difficulty, but specifically concentrating on tutoring the math courses. I just completed a graduate course on using technology in the classroom, and also courses on Reading Strategies and Graphic Organizers to help students be more successful in their studies.

As an undergraduate at Penn State, I became interested in education through positive experiences with my own teachers. At this time, I was an active high school volleyball coach, an environmental science teaching assistant, and an environmental science camp counselor.
