A Little Bit About Me...

Since joining the Israel Army Orchestra (3 years of service) at the age of 18 as Principal Trumpet, I have been involved in teaching and coaching Trumpet and Brass Players in different ages and levels. I enjoyed seeing that I can help very young begginer students to produce a sound in the trumpet after few minutes of specific instruction and also enjoyed solving problems to students who were playing for few years but did not receive a proper coaching that suit their playing. proper and simple trumpet playing did only good for my former students not only within succeeding in music but also by feeling better people, happier people with their head up.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have tutored Music Theory, Aural Skills, and Music History for two and a half years at Adelphi University. My G.P.A. in Music Theory was a 3.4 and my G.P.A. for Aural Skills was a 4.0. I was recommended by the former Department Chair-Person to tutor a student with special needs. I have also taught lessons primarily for trumpet, but also for tuba, trombone, euphonium, baritone, and French horn.
My teaching style could be described as fun, supportive, caring, and disciplined. By disciplined I don't mean tough, hard, or mean. Students are assigned work that they are expected to complete, although it won't be too time consuming. All work is intended to improve the student's abilities in the field that I will be tutoring them. Improvement is encouraged and positively reinforced.
