I have been a one-on -one paraprofessional at the elementary school level, teaching all subjects. I have also been a substitute teacher for eight years in prek-eight grade taching all subjects. I enjoy teaching all ages. I have found the most satisfying experience in helping a student reach his/her potential and see their self-esteem grow immensely as their academic achievements grew. I enjoy teaching children, students of all ages and those willing to learn. As a high school student, I was involved in inner city teaching and I helped hartford students in their studies after their school. I appreciate higher education and I truly understand what it takes to teach as I myself teach my own children with their homework from their own schools after they come home. I am a senior at the University of Hartford pursuing my Bachelor degree in biochemistry.
