My tutoring involves following classroom plans in Reading, Writing, English, and related skills and subjects. The goal is to support my students in their academic work that needs remedial attention as well as to enhance and enrich their homework, supporting them in every way possible. I mainly teach grades Kindergarten through six and have worked for over three years with older students at the middle school level(s). I am firm and consistent always asking for the students' imput. My teaching style is more along the lines of the Montessori system. Given the freedom and much direction from the tutor, the student will often "discover" the essence of the lesson.
