I graduated high school in 2013 with a 3.87 CGPA. I am currently a full-time student at University of Illinois Springfield. I have taken college algebra, trigonometry, statistics, and quantitative reasoning. My final grades were A, A, B+, and A, respectively. I have also taken English 101 and 102 and received an A in both classes. I am very skilled in math and English, and I am also a musician (guitar, piano, and vocals) with knowledge of music theory and history. A Little Bit About Me...

I graduated National-Louis University with a 3.7 GPA, and am also in the Kappa Delta Pi honors society for teaching. I have had many years of experience in the classroom, and with many different programs. I also have tutored previously for Sylvan tutoring. I am a Golden Apple Scholar, which is a prestigious award for teaching scholars that I won my senior year of high school. My experience has mostly been with younger students but recently I have tutored some high school students, as well.
I am very passionate about teaching. I am a very hands-on type of teacher that really likes to get the student involved in their learning. I have a Bachelor's degree in History and an Associate's in Process Technology. I am a member of Phi Theta Kappa honor society. I possess excellent math skills and took statistics in college. I enjoy helping others and feel I am a good fit for this position.
I do not have a specific teaching style. Everyone is different, so one particular type of teaching style may not be as effective as another. In order to be effective, I think it is important to recognize the students strengths and weaknesses before embarking on a certain learning path.
