A Little Bit About Me...

After graduating with a degree in history as well as with completion of pre-medical requirements I started tutoring students grades k-12 as well as college students in math, science, english and reading. After college I completed 2 years of FAA flight training and began teaching ground and flight instruction for all levels of pilot training (including aerobatics), which has allowed me to hone my teaching skills working with so many different age groups, personalities and cultural backgrounds. As a flight instructor I teach aerodynamics and basic physics while using math on a regular basis.
I work well with children and adults alike. In my opinion there’s never a dull moment when it comes to science and math. I am severely enthused when it comes to particular subjects that I love. And I am well open to share it with people that are interested. Even though you find yourself disliking the subject because it is “hard” or for whatever reason, I can make the subject engaging. I like to engage the students into the subject by not just helping them by memorizing protocols, but enabling them to understand the situation. I teach with very precise details, have them think for themselves to make the connecting gap in what they are learning. Therefore, by doing so, it doesn’t become dull but exciting.
