Dyslexia is one of my top subjects!

In 2019 I received my Masters from GCU, where I took courses focused on special education: social and emotional learning, technology, and diversity inclusion in the classroom. After taking Morphology Awareness with IMSE, I became a part of the FDU/Orton-Gillingham Scotch Plains cohort to become a Dyslexia Specialist. I have been able to apply my studies at the my charter school, showing grade level growth with lower level readers. I have completed the Lower Level portion, which includes 5th grade and under.

A Little Bit About Me...

I am presently working on a masters for elementary and special education. I have earned a bachelor degree in Sociology. I am currently teaching in the Fairview school district. I work as a resource room teacher for third grade and kindergarten. My primary focus is language arts, reading and math.
