My teaching style devotes about half the time to direct instruction, but I make that a firm upper limit. The student must do the active learning in a classroom, and I foster this by Socratic questioning, discussions, and project work. A Little Bit About Me...

As a high school student, my first job was at Kumon Math and Reading Center where I helped tutor Math students for 2 years. Once in college, my tutoring experiences were limited to summers but was able to help one student pass her summer school math class so that she could graduate.
