A Little Bit About Me...

I started tutoring in 7th grade back in 1976. I have been tutoring my own kids for over 14 years. I have been a Scout leader for over 9 years. I worked with boys ages 5 to 18 years of age. I have brought 2 learning disabled teens into my home to help them graduate High School. Both have gone on to be Certified Welders. I have presided over the Parental Acceptance Committee for both Fremont and all five of WSOS HeadStart Counties and all the centers in the School Districts of those counties. I am working on my Associate in Electronics and Computer Technology. I am also working on 17 IT Certificates and 9 Windows Certificates. After I get my ECT Associate I will start working on my BS in Electrical Engineering.

While studying at Allegheny College I was pushed by my professors to achieve a high level of academic proficiency as a student, colleague, and later teacher. Very far from a vocational curriculum, Allegheny encouraged its students to broaden their view of the educative experience and to pursue academia as a multifaceted discipline. My personal passions led to self-designing a degree in Philosophy and Sculpture dubbed “the instinctual process,” which focused on my passion for art as a discipline encompassing all others.
