I tutor based on the individual's learning needs. I have encountered some that were visual learners ad everything had to be drawn/written out. I have also tutored students that can have me explain it and they grasp it easily. My teaching style changes according to the needs of the student because not every one learns the same. I do believe Accounting is a complex field and the student has to have an interest in the field to truly be successful in retaining what they are taught.

I feel as though I am highly qualified and competitive for a teaching position because of my abilities to relate to children of all ages. As a volunteer basketball referee at Northside Baptist Church, Upward basketball program since 1998, I work with children between the ages of 7 and 13. I teach them about basketball and sportsmanship. As a parent of a 17 year old son, I constantly mentor him and his friends on life, school and everything in between. I have always had a passion for education and learning. I have always excelled in mathematics from elementary to collegiate levels. I LOVE math. I love to do math and I love to teach math. I was even on a math competition team in middle school. I have a strong statistical background from my Psychology studies and have taught Middle Grades Math to 8th graders.
