My main teaching strategy is to make students succeed by creating pre-tests and pre-quizzes for them so they can succeed while taking them in class, so if they struggle on these, I can explain and teach them before the actual assessment in class
I am a Math major at the University of South Carolina. I have taken math up to Calculus 2 already and exceeded in every level, while making A's in all high school math classes. My comments on tutoring Calculus I : I can help with more than the basics....

I have been an educator all of my life. I was turned on to Math in the 5th Grade by a loving, caring Teacher(Ms. King). I shall never foret that day. Chemistry/ Health Administration Experience

My teaching style is like a coach. I show the student the method to solve the problem and then I observe, correct and praise the student while he/she solves similar problems. It is important to explain the underlining principle in the problem so the student will be able to solve similar problems without just memorizing a few rules.
