I began teaching 22 years ago at a middle school and later taught high school when I relocated to the beach. I also tutored at a local community college. The most rewarding aspect of teaching and tutoring is when the lightbulb goes off at the crucial point of understanding in the student's mind. I have a Bachelor of Science in Education and a Masters Degree in Human Resource Management and School Leadership. Furthermore, I have 67 additional education credits pertaining to teaching, tutoring, communication and human resources. A Little Bit About Me...

One place I belong is teaching and working with children. Anyone that knows me and that has worked with me would probably say that. I don't teach right now due to a desire to develop a real estate career so that I can end up in the classroom. Having said that, I really enjoy teaching. I am patient as all students are different in their processings, experiences and personalities. I am energetic and funny as I find that is a great way to connect with children. I believe a great teacher needs to have proper skills and talents for teaching. I learned a lot while growing up from a great teacher; my mother. My mother was a teacher for thirty years teaching elementary grades. I learned a great teacher needs to be respectful, patient and to be able to illustrate the lesson in an easy, simple way. I try to provide simple analogies for each concept. This enables the student to grasp the concept easier and faster. In addition I help my students to learn better by asking few questions about the concept. This will help them to truly understand the lesson by using their analytical thinking.
