Tutoring has taught me that perseverance and patience are the keys to tackling tough situations, and I try to pass that along to others. I obtained my Associates of Science Degree in Biology at Macon State College completing courses in Anatomy and Physiology, Biology, Chemistry, Organic Chemistry and Calculus. I then completed my Bachelors of Science Degree in Biology at Valdosta State University. At Valdosta State University, I completed courses such Microbiology, Molecular Genetics of DNA, Animal Physiology, Protein Biochemistry, and Statistics. With these courses came laboratory experience which has allowed me to strengthen my skills in writing laboratory reports. I also have experience in writing essays and research papers. I have tutored and mentored students in middle school and high school science and mathematics.
