A Little Bit About Me...

I have taken Spanish classes since I was in Kindergarten. My high school's Spanish program was one of the most difficult in the state and my professor was amazing. I was inducted into the Foreign Language Honors Society my junior year of high school. I have learned the language very well and have read many books in Spanish too. I am currently a Spanish minor at the University of Kentucky and majoring in dietetics. The current class I am taking is a Spanish writing class which has taught me a lot about proper writing skills in the language. I enjoy Spanish and I hope to study abroad in Spain, Peru, or another Spanish-speaking country soon.

Some students benefit from closely studying the textbook in a course, whereas others became easily overwhelmed reading large amounts of text and instead required a more interactive learning atmosphere based on discourse.
