During the past four years, I have obtained a BS in Accounting with a Concentration in Fraud Examination and a Minor in Business Management. I have been employed full-time as the Business Manager of a private, not-for-profit Christian school, and as the Business Director of a student newspaper, The Voice. I have worked continuously in the educational setting with students, staff, and clients. I believe that everyone is teachable, if the student has the desire and the teacher has the commitment. I tend to be a patient teacher, with high standards. I come from a teaching family, and continue to learn from teachers myself. I feel that because I am still eager to continue to learn new things, I can appreciate a good teacher. While taking a variety of college courses, I found my area of interest in accounting. After receiving my Bachelors degree with honors, began working in the accounting field and towards my masters degree in taxation. I have worked well with many individuals in a variety of industries and most enjoyed the training/supervision of a young staff at Genetti's. Many were hired with little or no experience and with time and patience, became solid and empowered with the knowledge and experience that they acquired. I am the mother of 3 children, including one who is an honors student at Holy Redeemer. Teaching is a challenging task, and rewarding all the same.
