As a young woman aspiring to become a veterinarian, I attained both a BS in Biology and an AAS in Veterinary Technology. I enjoyed tutoring fellow students during my college career, as it allowed me to reinforce the material in my own mind and also to earn a little extra income. After compressing 2 years’ of material into one year to obtain my AAS degree, I decided to enter the workforce instead of continuing my education further.
