Prior to earning my degree in education, I was a sign language interpreter for the Deaf. I noticed that Deaf students were not getting an adequate education so I decided to finish my degree so that I would have the ability to have more influence with my student's ability to be successful regardless of their disability. My teaching style is simple, whatever it takes! Working in the school system has given me the opportunity to work with all types of learners. Some students do well with a quick learning session, others work at a slower pace.
