Professional but friendly English ESOL teacher

Depending on the area we need to work, the focus of the lesson will vary, but more often my students need all four skills to develop (speaking, listening, writing and reading). I strongly believe in the communicative approach in which I'm internationally certified. I'm open to my students wishes and preferences and choose activities for lessons accordingly.
Teaching experience in class environments and one-to one is over 7 years. I'm one of those lucky ones who loves their profession! I am currently a college sophomore at Florida Institute of Technology studying Computer Engineering so I know the problems a high school or school or college student would face in studies. Skilled and Experienced Teacher

My teaching style is teaching the student how he/she best learns. How to be organized, and to plan ahead for projects, and how to do homework each night. If necessary and if the school's text book system has lessons on the computer, I can bring my own laptop.

While in high school I tutored two other high school students in math, and an elementary school student in math and English, and also provided help in social studies and science. In College I volunteered with Big Brothers Big Sisters for a number of months. My mother is a pre-k special ed teacher, I volunteer in class usually once a week to help with the occupational therapy motor lab.
