I have learned a great deal about the various learning and teaching styles. I understand that some students learn better with hands-on instruction, while others are more auditory or visual learners. I truly have a passion for spreading my love of Spanish, and teaching other students the importance of the language, and all of the interesting cultural differences and similarities we have with Hispanic countries. I also have found that rather than force grammar in as a separate lesson, it is better received if taught in a practical use manner that augments a certain vocabulary list or point. I am also a strong supporter of the Gouin Series Method, which is a modified version of the direct method, for teaching grammar and vocabulary.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have earned a bachelors in Elementary Education and a Masters Degree in Education Management. I have three years of experience in tutoring children in various subjects: Math, Reading, history, spelling, writing, science, etc. I enjoy tutoring and have fun teaching the students new skills in order to succeed in various subjects.
