I graduated a year early from high school which then led me to the local community college.At the community college, I found myself being president of a local club known as Earth Awareness.I then graduated with my Associates Degree in Biology with honors.Cornell University was the next stage in my life where I became part of a local honors group known as Alpha Zeta Fraternity.Although attending Cornell University was a great honor; I felt that it was too large of a school for me(300+ in some courses) which then led me to SUNY at Fredonia.I will now be graduating from SUNY Fredonia with my Bachelor of Science in Biology this December 2009.I plan on attending graduate school at Fredonia University and earning my Master of Science in Biology.

From working with various types of students, I have learned that not everyone can learn material in the same manner. I myself am able to relearn and understand material very quickly and effectively. It is this skill that has allowed me to help friends, "little brothers," and teammates learn material that was previously a struggle for them. I began my career as a HS chemistry teacher in Lowville, NY. I taught for 3 years and then returned to graduate school where I was a teaching assisitant. I have been and adjunct professor at both the Univ of Vermont (1989 EE Dept) and Mercyhurst college (2003 Erie PA Chem Dept)and taught college level courses. I became a consultant in 1995 and also became a certified instructor for the Nat'l Assn of Surface Finishers (NASF) for various courses relating to plating and environmental science. These courses are designed at the HS/1st yr college level and often require additional explanation to students.
