I worked in the finance field at the Chicago Board of Trade while speaking Japanese for many years ( I can also read and write Hiragana and Katakana.) At some point later in life, I decided on a career change and got my degree in special education. I have taught BD/LD children mostly in the high school age group for 7 years in science, english and social studies. I had a wide spectrum of kids ranging from those with ADHD to autism.

After graduating second in my class with a 3.9 GPA, I started working for the Art Institute of Chicago. During the last five years, I have worked with children of all ages and at all developmental levels. I also have been responsible for grading coursework in all subjects in the classroom.
