I have 20 years experience in the marines, so I have a no nonsense approach to teaching and tutoring. My own two children (boys, now grown) will tell you that despite my military bearing, I am patient and understanding with kids. I believe the best way to teach children (or anyone) is to create the conditions that will encourage and allow them to teach themselves. I believe that adults model for children continuously. Children mimic our thought processes and our problem solving techniques. We teach best through example. As a college graduate with two degrees in business and working on a graduate business degree, I have found myself useful to many students at the college and high school levels. I have tutored many business subjects at the college level and math and language subjects at the high school level. I have a passion for learning and an equal passion to help others learn.
