I have a BS in Psychology, and I have experience tutoring college students through an honors position as a Writing Fellow through Jackson Community College. I have studied, worked with, and helped publish various forms of writing. These forms include scientific journal articles (APA) and analytic essays (MLA). They also include creative forms of writing such as narrative essays, fiction, and poetry. I have spent the better part of my life either in school or teaching in one form or another. I highly value both the process of learning and of passing on my knowledge. I have intend to make this my life's work and as such have almost always held teaching positions. I tutored fellow students while an undergraduate and after graduation I taught autistic students in math, reading, art, speech therapy and physical education for 5 years. Then, as a graduate student I taught Human Anatomy to undergraduates. Though my own education is in psychology and biology my years of education have provided me with a broad base in the arts, history and literature/writing as well.
