A Little Bit About Me...

Before I was a teacher, I was a one on one teacher associate with special needs children for six years. I have been teaching 8th grade special for almost three years. School has been the most important structure in my life since I was a kid. My parents taught me that school comes first above anything else. I took their statement very seriously. I earned a 3.9 GPA at my university with Summa Cum Laude honors. I was a dedicated student who wants to help others succeed in school. I am a babysitter, which comes hand in hand with tutoring. I often help the kids with homework when I'm babysitting. I help my old high school speech and debate team. I must be able to constructively criticize the students but make speech and debate fun and challenging. I work well with kids, from elementary school to high school.
I will reiterate whatever the student is struggling with until they really understand. I am very patient and fun!
