I have worked with Middle School age youth for almost a decade. I am Site Coordinator at an after school program & run a science focused club there. I also occasionally help the students who have been removed from our Homework Room with a number of subjects. I enjoy imparting my knowledge to my students via a variety of hands on learning activities and have always been a keen math, science and language arts student myself. Throughout school, I also played every woodwind instrument except the Oboe. I am a pursuer of hard work and performance. I have a double major and a singular bachelor degrees and a master's in literacy as language is very important to me. I have taught and worked as a substitute teacher in the public school system for the last 25 years. I also play the piano, keyboard and organ. I attended SUNY Oneonta to attain a B.S. in Elementary Education. I had a concentration in General Science, so I have a broad knowledge-base of the subject.
