I love working with children. I believe that children tend to learn best through repetition and making the experience fun. I like to work with flashcards and other such methods. If you take the time with a child they will eventually pick up on what you are trying to teach them. However, there are methods such as acronyms that can be used as well.

Most lessons can be taught in various styles but teachers are often faced with a curriculum guideline that they must follow. A Little Bit About Me...

Hands on, Practice based, through step by step instruction. Visual learning whenever applicable. Geometry, algebra, physics, and some calculus are in my range of teaching. I am very patient as long as the student is trying to learn and cares about the work. Mental support of students is half the battle.
I am comfortable tutoring lower level math classes, mechanical design, or other engineering classes. Writing classes such as English, literature, or fine arts are fine as well.
