I am a French native speaker. Since September 2008, I am a French Private Teacher in Columbus, INDIANA to Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced Levels persons (Kids and Adults). I am using 7 pedagogical axes : Vocabulary, Culture, Oral comprehension, Written comprehension/Redaction, Conjugation, Songs, Grammar/Spelling. I am studying books like ‘La Petite Sirene’ from Hans Andersen, ‘La belle lisse poire du Prince de Motordu’ and ‘Motordu Papa’ from Pef, ‘Les Histoires inédites du Petit Nicolas – Volume 2’ from Goscinny and Sempe.

A Little Bit About Me...

I worked as a synthetic organic chemist at Eli Lilly pharmaceutical company for five years. I spent the next 20+ years as a stay-at-home mom and homeschooler, teaching my three children from kindergarten until they graduated from high school.(My two oldest are now college graduates and the third is presently in college.) During my years of homeschooling, I taught both chemistry and biology to high school students in our homeschool group. I have also tutored friends who were in nursing programs and struggling with chemistry. I enjoy algebra and geometry and have done some tutoring in each subject. I taught English as a Second Language for five years to members of the Hispanic community in Columbus.
