A Little Bit About Me...
I believe each student learns at his/her own pace. In a class room environment, at the college level, this creates a challenge for the instructor. I try to stress to each student the need to spend enough time outside of class reading, completing assignments and re-reviewing as needed. I encourage the students to work together outside of class. I try to engage all students during class to listen, share experiences and ask questions.
When Tutoring, I am able to pace my instruction to meet the needs of the individual student. I am able to sense when a student is struggling with a concept and spend additional time until it clicks and the light goes on.
