Born as a Chinese national and I speak fluent Chinese Mandarin language and I studied Business in Accounting and graduated from SUNY Brockport in 1990 and my mathematical course I always get "A" on my grade (I even get 105 on my test score, believe it or not) and I still love math. I feel as though every student will have their own niche. They will have a special subject that they enjoy the most and one that they despise. I think that figuring out how the child studies for the subject they enjoy will lead to an understanding of how to motivate that student to learn the subjects that are more difficult for them.
