Biology is one of my top subjects! I received my BS in Biological Sciences with a minor in Chemistry with honors in 2010. As an undergraduate I served as the supplemental instructor leading peer reviewed tutor sessions for a Cellular and Molecular Biology, Genetics and Evolution class as well as an Organism and Ecological Biology class. A Little Bit About Me...

I love to teach and tutor mathematics, especially algebra, when students cannot seem to grasp basic concepts. Usually when a analogy to money is used, it becomes a little more successful. Learning and teaching have always been a joy to me. I believe that good reading skills are essential to good learning at all levels and in all subjects. If I am tutoring a young person I contact the teacher so that I can find out what areas the student needs review in. Many times the teacher will give me the resources and materials to use. Also, I like to use the guide books for each grade that are sold in stationary areas of most stores. For tutoring in reading I've found the Leapfrog Reading Program is very helpful. I like to meet my students at the library so that I can use the resources found in the library, including the computer. Many times I use educational games because are very useful tools in learning, and they are fun.
