I have taught in private high schools and colleges,as well as public high schools and universities for the past thirty years. I have a great passion for teaching and mentoring, with an emphasis on preparing students for college. My thesis in English was on Eudora Welty's fiction; however, my dissertation was on Shakespeare. My minor in undergraduate school was history; thus, I am also qualified to tutor in history. I have assisted editors for university publications and am well-qualified to edit essays. As a recent graduate from the University of Alabama, I have possessed a passion for learning in hopes to become a doctor. I have earned a BS in Biology and a MS in Human Environmental Science. These degrees have provided me with vast knowledge in the fields of science, medicine, and math. I have spent the better part of the past 12 years teaching grammar, creative writing, literature, and basic English structure. I have my BFA in Creative Writing and my BA in English from Arkansas Tech University, and I have my MA in English from Highlands University.
