Journalism is one of my top subjects! I have a B.A. in Journalism with over ten years of professional writing experience for newspapers, magazines and Websites throughout the country on both a full-time and freelance basis.

After earning a Journalism degree in 2005, I spent four years as a full-time sports reporter at two daily newspapers in Pennsylvania (The Record Herald from 2005 to 2007 and the Public Opinion from 2007 to 2009). In 2008 I was honored by the Pennsylvania Newspaper Association with a Keystone Press Award for feature writing. My comments on tutoring Journalism : I have two years experience writing for the Daily Tar Heel and completed an internship with the local NPR station, WUNC.

I have a degree in English and Creative Writing from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and have two years experience writing for the Daily Tar Heel. Teacher with gentle touch - Very good at explaining new subj

Web manager and usability analyst as well as instructor. I have been asked at various jobs to teach training classes to my peers because of my ability to deliver an easy to understand lesson. I've been told I am very good at explaining a topic that someone has no experience with at all. I am on contract with NC States Computer Training Unit.
I try to find the teaching style that is going to work for the student. Are they visual? Do they need to touch to learn? Finding out how to teach them and then helping them learn skills for independent study are just as important as the material.
