Other experience I have is derived from having taken and successfully passed (A) those courses I can tutor. I also help and tutor students who would like to learn how to play piano by ear, chords (major, minor, diminished, augmented), hear a song and determine chords, accompanying a singer, etc. I have experience in playing piano by ear for churches from almost 2 years. A Little Bit About Me...

Learning must be fun, especially in a tutoring context. In my previous tutoring experiences, I always attempted to turn tasks into games or opportunities for creative expression. For example, multiplication tables can become an opportunity to play a relay game. Learning different parts of speech can be made enjoyable by creating an imaginative story. My particular interest is helping children develop a passion for creative writing and reading. These were essential elements of my own childhood and my development as a writer, and I'm excited to share this experience with others.
After graduating with honors from Grove City College, I took a position as a writer for a large nonprofit organization in Washington, DC. While working as a professional writer, I dedicated my free time to tutoring at a center for urban kids.
