I’m great with kids, I have very strong patience and hade mostly straight a’s all the way through to 7th grade. I can work at the child’s pace and help them catch up to the pace most kids follow. I’m willing to make arrangements on prices, but the lowest I’ll go is 10 dollars an hour. I make my price cheap because I know that the child’s parent obviously has a kid and I know money can be tight when it comes to children.

If the student does not understand the concept I will approach it using a different method. I want all students to feel successful at math. I teach 7th grade remedial and general math. I work students at risk of not passing, and I work very hard to break down math concepts. I believe it is so important to find a way to make each student understand a concept. I do not teach "just one way", but find the method that turns my students'lightbulb on. Before this position I taught middle school math to students with learning disabilities at the same school. A new principal after watching me teach, moved all my 7th grade students and had me take over the regular math position working with all struggling students.
