I majored in musical performance in college, but left early to pursue a career in a Broadway Touring Company of Les Miz. From 1996-2014 I've been a professional singer and actor in many different shows and venues. I have 3 children and have been married for 10 years. I love working with people to build confidence.

I teach through discovery (trial/error), tactile (hands-on), play, & also providing a positive approach/praise to learning. I believe all children can meet their potential if they are given the appropriate surroundings & learning experiences. I love seeing the child's face light up-catching that "ah-ha" moment (that they understand), being SO excited that they learned something new for the first time, or them being SO proud of overcoming something that was difficult to them. Those moments & being able to share them with the child, makes teaching worth it.
