I have been teaching 8th grade math(pre-Algebra,Algebra,Geometry) for 10 years. I have been very successful in improving students scores. Last year my pre-algebra students made a growth of 6.55 according to Evaas score data. Trigonometry is one of my top subjects!

I have a habit of teaching the basic concepts thoroughly giving them examples and some new problems underlying the same concepts to solve on their own. I also used to conduct tests regularly. This will assess the student and also how much more effort the student has to put in learning the subject.
I did my bachelor's in CIVIL Engineering in India.After my bachelor's I worked as an Assistant civil engineer for residential projects. Turning your weakness into your strength

I help guide the student along, having them discover much of the information in a trial and error fashion. I tend to use the questions they are struggling with the most, making similar examples, then walking them through these problems and breaking down the problems until the student understands the how the process works.
I have been tutoring for over seven years, starting with my peers in tenth grade.
