Turning your weakness into your strength

I help guide the student along, having them discover much of the information in a trial and error fashion. I tend to use the questions they are struggling with the most, making similar examples, then walking them through these problems and breaking down the problems until the student understands the how the process works.

Learning is more effective if it is fun and relevant.

I'm currently working at a psychiatric treatment facility working with teenagers with behavioral, psychological, and emotional problems as a counselor. My job is to help these unfortunate teenagers and providing helpful advices to help them coping/improving their treatment. Physics and Mathematics Tutor

I gained my first tutoring experience by explaining difficult concepts to classmates that were struggling. I have been a tutor on WyzAnt for about half a year now. I have tutored math and physics students both at the high school and college level. All of the students that I worked with rated my lessons positively.
From my tutoring experience I have noticed that most students who have trouble understanding a difficult concept do so because they did not understand a more basic prerequisite concept, so I try to help students "fill in the gaps."
