I started tutoring students middle and high school prior to graduating college. I have taught part-time college students at various institutions since 1996. I also have worked as an independent tutor part-time. I have more than 30 years of experience teaching as a one-on-one tutor and as a college instructor. I currently teach at Wake Tech Community College. I have taught at Strayer University, Campbell University, Mount Olive College, Durham Tech Community College, Central Carolina Community College and Vance-Granville Community College. A Little Bit About Me...

I worked as a laboratory assistant student supervisor in the Biology and Chemistry Laboratories of the Saint Leo University Mathematics and Sciences Department for two years. I was the liaison for professors and students, and I assisted professors and arranged for laboratory classes and held responsibility for students and University property. I helped students with various courses including Genetics, Zoology and Anatomy and Physiology. A Little Bit About Me...

I am able to diagnose weak points in the student's knowledge and remedy those weak points so that the student is better able to have a full understanding of the content. I believe that most academic difficulties come from small gaps in knowledge and a misunderstanding of how parts relate to the whole.
I have been a counselor in the public schools for the past 16 years, both at the elementary and high school levels. I have tutored students in many subjects; ranging from 3rd grade math to advanced algebra to US History.
