A Little Bit About Me...

In having a bachelors degree in Psychology, I have been fortunate enough to have worked at various places, all in which have dealt with constant interaction with people. I spent nine semester at FMCC in the TRiO Student Support Services program. I began as a part time tutor and after one semester the program director saw it prudent to keep me on. During my time with the program I helped to establish several tutoring programs, one at FM and another at Amsterdam High School for the Upward Bound Grant funded program. In my spare time I do private in home tutoring for students seeking to improve their grades and become adept at taking standardized tests. I love the feeling of knowing that I helped a student accomplish something that they may not have believed they could do. I struggled throughout school so I feel I can relate to students who need that extra help.
