I have over 20 years of experience working as a university instructor and private teacher for students ages 11-50. Most of my experience has been in English as a Second Language programs for community colleges and research universities, including M.I.T. and Tufts University. The civil engineering program that I successfully completed into a 4 year BS degree, was math and science intensive, with about half the courses requiring laboratory work. My highest math course was in differential equations, also I completed physics, chemistry, and electrical course material. I have had 9 years experience as either field engineer or construction superintnedent. Writing reports, conducting training and development seminars was a standard part of either job, whether the subject was construction means and methods, safety concerns or design changes.
