Calculus II is one of my top subjects! I completed AP Calculus BC in high school and received a score of 5 on the AP Examination for that subject.

I have experience working with students who are advanced and seeking supplementary tutoring as well as with students who are having difficulty with a subject. I have tutored mathematics as well as chemistry, biology, physics, and other subjects. I have tutored students from a range of ages and I worked with my first student over four years ago while I was in college.
I try to work with students to find connections between different aspects of the material that we're working on as well as to find connections to other subjects. I find that by relating specific topics to broader perspectives on a subject as well as related subjects, the student can gain a greater appreciation for the coherence and importance of a particular subject area.

I believe that everybody can learn and comprehend math. Math is an intimidating subject for most people, so my goal as a teacher is to show my students that it is more like a puzzle. With all puzzles, you just need to know the steps to solving it in order to be successful, and my job is to teach these steps.
