A Little Bit About Me...

The scope of my teaching experience is non-traditional teachings. I taught middle school girls and adults in craft courses. While my children were in middle school, I volunteered in their arts and craft classes. I taught senior adults in a beginner Microsoft Office class at the Sunshine Senior Center in Deltona. While attending Daytona State College; Advance Technology Center was being build; I assisted an associate professor in ordering and setting up the materials testing laboratory. I volunteered to assist in teaching the first few classes. I find it very rewarding when a student has learned the subject and has a feeling a pride. That will follow them into the next subjects, with the sense that they can accomplish anything.

A Little Bit About Me...

During my high school and colleges years I enjoyed helping my peers in different courses, noticing that I'm really good when it comes to teach. So, I decided to offer my services as a tutor for all types of courses for school student (from elementary to high school) and for college students that were taking courses I already have taken. I also have experience as a substitute teacher. Some of the courses that I have tutored are all types of mathematics (algebra, pre-calculus, calculus and others), all types of sciences (chemistry, physics, biology and others), basic and intermediate English, basic and intermediate Spanish.

My BS is in education.My MS in business. Also, over 100 hours from other shchols including Algebra, trig, chemistry and physics. Ten years helping adults pass the GED in Jefferson CIty, Missouri, Also taught American history there for two summers. Some substitute teaching over a dozen years. Four years nine months experirnce teaching felons to pass the GED in a level five correctional facility, part time, after working an eight hour shift in a chemical lad.
