I am a Social Studies teacher in the state of Pennsylvania. I graduated from an NCATE accredited university that has a rigorous education program. In that program, I was required to teach elementary students, middle school students, high school students, college students, and adult classes. I have been teaching for three years and tutoring for five years. I have taught multiple types of learners in multiple subjects with a significant amount of success.
I am a great speaker, and I can easily relate to my students. I push my students thoroughly to reach their objectives, because I do not believe there is anyone who cannot learn a subject. I have never had a student fail on my watch, and I do not intend to ever have that happen if a student is trying. If you have the will to learn, I will see to it that you increase your grade.

A Little Bit About Me...

This particular position interests me because I struggled with math through middle school and understand the frustration it can create for a student. A Little Bit About Me...

Math teachers are notorious for being vague or teaching solely from text. I believe understanding mathematics does not necessarily make you fit to teach it. I have had great success adapting to a student's language and using analogies to make math come to life. It's a fact that no human likes an activity if they are not good at it, attitude is half the battle; if I can help my student to get better at math, I know they will stop disliking the subject and thereby learn more.
