Creative Writing is one of my top subjects! I have a B.A. and an M.F.A. in creative writing.

I have been teaching all my life. Last year, I lived in Prague, Czech Republic, and taught English to students aged five through adult. They included children, accountants, analysts, engineers, energy experts, and lawyers. I've also taught swimming lessons to individual students and group classes for over ten years. I have a Master's in Creative Writing and poetry, and I have worked as a freelance writer, editor, proofreader, and teacher for many years. I love teaching and the diverse students I meet.

A Little Bit About Me...

Having earned degrees in PE, Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology and Biomechanics I have a strong science background in subjects such as Biology, Anatomy, Physiology, Kinetics, Biomechanics, Cellular Biology, Physics and Chemistry. In turn many of these subjects require knowledge of advanced mathmatical formulas and statistics. Therefore I am also very strong in math. I have published many articles as well as scientific research which emphasizes my skills in writing and grammar and again supports my knowledge of statistical analysis. A Little Bit About Me...

I have worked with children of all ages in different environments and capacities for the past 20 years. It all started at the YMCA Afterschool and Summer Programs which gave me my first satisfactory feeling for being around young people. That led to substitute teaching and to 6 years in the classroom with 6th graders. For 1 year I taught English as a Foreign Language in Slovenia and Germany. Finally, I yearned for more one on one experience which resulted in being a Independent Study teacher for the past 5 years.
