I am a 2014 graduate of Marymount University where I received a Masters in Special Education. I have teaching experience at both the elementary and middle school levels. I am currently attending West Virginia University to attain my Masters Degree in Human Nutrition. While I have been here, I have had the opportunity to tutor other students in various classes such as biology, anatomy, nutrition, communications, sociology, english, and psychology. Education has always been my field of interest. When my children were young (8 and 4), I've been teaching in order to match my schedule with their school hours and vacations. With French as my mother's tongue and because I studied in French, I was very excited about the opportunity to serve the Foreign Langage Program initiated by the PTA at Montgomery County Public Schools in MD. Not every method works for every child; with one exception, patience. I demonstrate and exemplify patience. If a child feels as though they are in an atmosphere where they are safe, free of ridicule and bias, then they are willing to perform. This process can be a give take scenario however. So, some flexibility is required as well, but eventually the student will become more comfortable with themselves and confident in what they are capable of.

During that time I was a compulsive volunteer with different support groups within the school system. I decided to complete my education as my children got older and received my bachelors degree and continued to take classes so that I am now able to sit for my CPA and I have also completed the necessary undergraduate requirement in order to teach business classes.
