I like to try and figure out how a student goes about understanding different topics. Often times teachers teach right from the textbook, but this can be confusing and students can be left behind because they learn differently. I know from experience that lectures don't always help and that another approach can be best.

A great teacher will give the opportunity for the student to discover their strengths and weaknesses and motivate them to seek who they are and what they want as a future career. Success is measured in the way each student applies their skills and tools of learning to accomplish their task inside and outside the classroom. I want to help my students in realizing their ambitions early on and work hard academically to accomplish a path to reach their future goal.
